Sonya Denney
Miss Sonya is Dance Zone’s Studio Owner and Director. She teaches all disciplines of dance including Dance Zone’s successful competitive teams. As a former member of Ball State University’s Dance Theatre, Sonya has been dancing for over 35 years. She has been using her talents to train young dancers since 1998.
Gena Martinez
Miss Gena is our "Prima" ballet instructor and teaches all disciplines of dance, including our competitive team. Gena studied with Newport/ Mesa Ballet and Dancer’s Studio and has been dancing for over 20 years. Gena joined the Dance Zone staff in 2004.
Sarah McFarland
Miss Sarah is our Team Assistant Coach, choreographer extraordinaire and teaches all disciplines of dance. Sarah studied and taught at Dance Plus and has been dancing for 22 years. She has been an instructor at Dance Zone since 2006.
Lanell Christensen
Miss Lanell coaches our Cheer Skills and Cheer Academy classes. With over 15 years coaching experience at all levels of cheer, she is AACCA Safety certified and holds a certification from the United States All Star Federation. Lanell is also an experienced, certified judge for both all-star and school cheer and dance competitions. She joined the Dance Zone staff in 2009.
Linda Bennett
Miss Linda owned Dance Time Studio and has 30+ years of dance experience. Focusing primarily on Tap, Linda will be teaching many of our classes and competitive tap teams. Dance Zone is thrilled to have Linda!
